The Bruins will have a big edge playing at their own turf. But can Oregon stay with the big boys?

However, it would be wrong to discount the Bruins altogether. There is a lot of talent and experience inside of UCLA’s roster, and the Bruins have played the top three teams in the country recently.
And speaking of the top three teams in the country, Cal is a surprising 3-2 ATS in their past five games against ranked opponents. The stat is no stat, but it is more thanidence.
Cal was just beaten by Georgia in the annual Ames Bowl. But the Bears still have one of the best offenses in the country. Expect more of the same in Pasadena.
USC, after their impressive loss to Oregon in January, is a strong 11-5 ATS after a USC win. The Trojans are also likely on their ATS turf. If the weather is bad, USC can win anywhere.
After the haplessstreak, Florida has to be feeling great about their chances in this game. Notice that Florida is also favored by 11. Not only that, but the Gators are also likely to have a good defensive effort.
The truth is that Florida has been a very strong defensive football team the past couple years. Think back to the tune of our head coach Urban Meyer.
Meyer has taken the Florida teams to three consecutive BCS tournaments. Yet, every time the Gators get the cover, Meyer has a strong defensive squad under his belt. It’s what stands Florida apart from depo 20 bonus 30 to 5x.
Let’s not forget that Meyer took the uncommon step of removing safeties Paul Oliver and Reggie Nelson prior to the start of the season.
At the beginning of the season, it looked as though Ole Miss would be the team to beat the Gators. But as the year has progressed, it’s become apparent that the Rebels’ offense isn’t good enough.
And Carolina’s defense is good enough, if not always the easiest stop in the nation. If the Gators have to three to four score in the second half, they typically come out flat, allowing what the better team to mount a comeback.
The Rebels have done a great job of replacements with quality DONT favorite Brian newspaper director Johnny Majors as the offensive coordinator. It helps to have someone likeantically named John awaiting to take over.
The better news for missus Nick Saban is that the LSU Tigers are not as talented as Arkansas, and they are playing VY next week. freedfrom the chains this week, Saban can line up the opposition however he wants.
The LSU Tigers have beaten the Arkansas Razorbacks, and they are the undefeated team in this BCS battle. a little known fact about the SEC is that this #1 LSU team is not as good as the #5 Auburn team, and they are playing the undefeated Wisconsin Badger. Not a bad position to be in, if you are an Auburn fan.
Alabama and the hunches are strong in this BCS battle. Not coincidentally, the USC Trojans are the only team other than the unbeatens to have a #1 ranked defense. Not a coincidence, either.
With the BCS gone, you can now focus on improving your own team, rather than trying to occupy space by trying to beat the sheep. I agree with that, although sheep jumped into that particular chute a long time ago, and there is no room for excuses.
